Furnas · São Miguel, Azores · May 4–7, 2027
A private gathering of sixteen women who lead — founders, executives, builders of things — for the conversation their calendars never allow.
Why this exists
This is a working session for your life — not a conference, not a wellness escape, not a networking event with yoga attached. Sixteen women, two facilitators, one volcanic valley in the middle of the Atlantic, and four days structured around a single question: what comes next, on your terms?
The women who come here are not burned out on ambition. They are done performing it. They want the version of the next decade that they actually chose — and they want to decide it in the company of women who don't need anything explained.
You don't need another plan. You need a decision, a rested body, and women who won't let you disappear from your own life.
Our promise
You'll arrive thinking you need a better plan. You'll leave remembering who you are, knowing what comes next — and surrounded by women who will not let you disappear from your own life.
The Room
Every seat is filled by application and conversation — not to gatekeep, but to compose a room where every woman raises the level for the others. Expect peers, not an audience:
Women who have built companies and carried payrolls — and are deciding what the next build is for.
Women running large teams and P&Ls, fluent in strategy, out of practice at wanting things for themselves.
Practice leaders, firm partners, operators — the ones everyone else calls when it matters.
Post-exit, post-title, mid-reinvention — successful on paper and asking the honest question underneath.
Every woman in the room is there on purpose. Yours included.
The Facilitators
Leadership & Identity
Entrepreneur, executive advisor, author, and co-founder of Power Yoga Canada and Power Yoga Collective. Pauline has spent two decades scaling companies, building communities, and guiding leaders through the exact transition this retreat is built around.
She leads the deciding: the identity work, the redefinition of success, the courage to choose again.
Nervous System & Somatics · Big Sigh
A registered nurse and somatic specialist with over twenty years of clinical experience, Jessica works exclusively with high-performing leaders whose success has become physically unsustainable.
She leads the body's side of the same work: breathwork, somatic release, and nervous-system recalibration — available 1:1 to every participant throughout the retreat.
“You cannot strategize your way out of a nervous system locked in overdrive. Here, the insight work of the morning is metabolized by the body the same afternoon — then soaked into place in water heated by the island itself.”
The Four Days
Mornings hold the work. Afternoons hold the island. Nothing is scheduled to impress you, and nothing intense is ever followed by anything but water, nature, or rest.
Tue · May 4
Private transfers wind out of Ponta Delgada, over the ridge, and down into a valley that smells faintly of sulphur and rain. An opening circle at dusk, a long candlelit table, and one quiet ritual: naming the thing you're setting down for the week. That's all. The only job today is landing.
Wed · May 5
The invisible load: the roles, expectations, and responsibilities you carry — which you chose, which were assigned, which have expired. The morning names it; Jessica's breathwork and somatic session moves it; the iron-rich thermal pools hold what's left, under ferns, in water the colour of amber.
Thu · May 6
Success, rewritten for this season of your life — over a lunch pulled steaming from the volcanic ground, the famous cozido das Furnas. You'll draft a personal leadership declaration, and read it that evening in the Take Your Seat ceremony, witnessed by the circle. Then the best dinner of the week. Transformation ends in celebration here, not solemnity.
Fri · May 7
Declarations become plans: one decision, one boundary, one conversation, one practice. Accountability pods of three, with a 90-day rhythm that begins before your flight home does. Closing circle, farewell lunch, staggered departures.
Daily: morning yoga and meditation with two levels offered, twice-daily breathwork, thermal bathing built into the schedule — not squeezed around it. Travel day May 3 from North America; most flights connect through Boston, Toronto, or Lisbon.
The Place
Furnas is a volcanic crater town on São Miguel island — two hours from Boston by air, and a world away by every other measure. Geothermal springs steam at the edge of the village. Iron-rich pools run warm the colour of amber. A lake sits ringed in laurel and hydrangea, and lunch is cooked slowly underground by the heat of the earth itself.
Nothing about this place performs. It simply is. Which is precisely the practice.
After
Not inspiration — a personal leadership declaration and a 90-day plan with one decision, one boundary, one conversation, and one practice attached to it.
Four days of clinical-grade nervous-system work, movement, sleep, and thermal water — and the take-home practices to keep it.
An accountability pod of three with a set rhythm, a full-group circle at day 30, and a 90-day close-out where every woman reports on her declaration.
